Dysmennorhoea symptoms are linked to endiometriosis. Endiometriosis is a painful condition in which the endometrium tissue that usually coats the inside of the uterus grows or extends outside of the uterus. It usually affects the tissues that line the pelvis, the ovaries and even of the bowel. The endometrial tissue may also go beyond the pelvic area. Endometriosis symptoms include a painful menstrual period or dysmenorrhoea, pain during bowel discharge or when urinating, pain during sexual intercourse, infertility and excessive bleeding.
Pelvic pain and cramping are the most common endometriosis symptoms. Dysmenorrhoea can be experienced before a menstrual period and can last for many days into your period. This endometriosis symptom may also include abdominal pain and lower back aches. Pain while having sex or after sex is common when having endometriosis while pain during bowel movement and urination also happens when into your menstrual period. Occasional heavy periods known as menorrhagia or bleeding in between menstrual periods or menometrorrhagia can also be experienced.
Woman who are seeking a cure for infertility are usually diagnosed with endometriosis. Other symptoms are constipation, bloating, nausea and fatigue during menstrual periods. A very painful feeling of women when suffering from endometriosis does not mean that this illness is serious. Even females with mild endometriosis suffer from severe pain while those with lingering endometriosis may experience only little pain and sometimes with no pain at all.
It is important to consult a doctor when experiencing endometriosis symptoms since the reason for the severe pelvic pain is not easy to pinpoint. However, consulting a doctor at early stages of the symptoms may help you avoid complications. Endometriosis symptoms may also be confused as symptoms caused by ovarian cysts or a pelvic inflammatory disease, irritable bowel syndrome which gives us another reason on how important it is to see a doctor if these symptoms appear.
